Dec 2024 to March 2026

ELTON Cyber Security

Product Manager

From nothing to a launched product in 15 months, with the team still using the AI-assisted development practices I introduced.

I took ELTON's medical-device penetration testing platform from nothing to launch in March 2026.

From research to a launched product

ELTON had deep medical-device security expertise and research, but no product. Its penetration testing was sold one engagement at a time, and the findings arrived as long vulnerability lists that engineering teams couldn't prioritize.

I was brought in to turn that work into a product and get it shipped.

What I changed

We repositioned the platform around exploitability rather than simply producing longer vulnerability reports. Instead of asking engineering teams to treat every finding equally, ELTON verifies which vulnerabilities can actually be exploited and helps teams prioritize the ones that matter.

I also introduced AI-assisted development, design, and delivery practices to help the existing team build faster and operate more efficiently.

Result

The result was a launched medical-device penetration testing platform and a development process the team could continue using after the engagement.

ELTON reports on its own site that it is trusted by 6 of the top 10 medical device manufacturers, follows FDA Section 524B methodology, and runs 95% faster than legacy consulting-firm penetration testing.
